It’s hard to imagine living in a world without seasons. Each time of year bears gifts in the form of distinct weather patterns and fresh seasonal foods. Everyone has a favorite season, one that they count the days until and afterwards claim was never long enough. Having a September birthday may make me biased, but I’m partial to crisp cool Autumns filled with colored leaves and school supply shopping.
Celebrate the Four Seasons–Especially Summer
Believe it or not, Minnie Mouse loves celebrating the seasons as well. The Hollywood and Vine offers seasonal dinner parties brought to you by this hostess with the mostest and the rest of the fab five.
Minnie’s Summertime Dine is offered during dinner for $46.99 per adult and $27.99 per child, plus tax and gratuity. Some dining plans are accepted and Fantasmic seating options are offered as well.
Hollywood and Vine features an art deco style complete with murals celebrating vintage Hollywood in all its glory. For this special dinner, you can look forward to Summer decorations fit for the set of an Annette Funicello/Frankie Avalon beach flick.
And the characters are dressed for it as well! Meet Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy in their best summer fashions. Characters will rotate through the restaurant, visiting each table during the meal. They do not sign autographs, but each guest will take home a pre-signed autograph card as a souvenir.
As for the menu, the meal is a buffet featuring many Disney favorites as well as summery seasonal treats like fried shrimp, spinach and arugula salads, and blueberry lemonade cupcakes.
