Looking to celebrate the holidays at Disney? I can’t think of a better way to do so than with “Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.” This party takes place on select dates during November and December in the Magic Kingdom. The party will have you and your loved ones in the spirit in no time. With several special events and ample hot cocoa and cookies for everyone, this is the most magical place to celebrate the season.

Frozen Holiday Wish!

Start the night off with the “Frozen Holiday Wish!” This stage front show will allow you to see Queen Elsa, joined by Ana, Kristoff, and Olaf, lighting Cinderella’s castle and transforming it into an icy masterpiece.

Throughout the evening you can enjoy special character appearances—catch up with Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps in Zootopia, visit the gem mines and seven dwarves, and swap favorite holiday stories with Jack Skellington (looking especially charming in his Sandy Claws suit).

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration

“Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration” is a castle front show unlike any other. Personally, I think this is one of the best shows I have ever seen in a Disney park. Mickey, Minnie, and the gang are throwing a Christmas party with the guest list to end all guest lists—everyone from “Alice in Wonderland” and “Toy Story” to “The Three Caballeros.” Not to mention, Clarabelle Cow’s show-stopping rendition of “All I Want for Christmas is You.” Talk about Moo-riah Carey.

The Christmas Parade

One of the biggest Christmas traditions in my family’s home is watching the Disney parade on TV every year. We snuggle up in our pajamas for two hours to watch Ryan Seacrest, Nick Cannon, and various pop stars spread Christmas cheer over the Happiest Place on Earth. After years of seeing this on TV, it was surreal to watch “Mickey’s Once Upon a Time Christmas Parade.” The toy soldiers, dancing gingerbread men, and merry reindeer were skipping right past us and interacting with us—plus Santa Claus came!

Holiday Wishes

Narrated by Jiminy Cricket, “Holiday Wishes” is a seasonal spin on a Disney parks favorite. Enjoy sparkling, colorful fireworks as they dance in the sky set to a medley of holiday tunes.

Tip: There is one time in the night when the “Merriest Celebration,” “Christmastime Parade,” and “Holiday Wishes” all occur back to back. Snag a spot near the Partners statue, and you’ll have a great view of all three!

A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas

Over in Tomorrowland, you’ll find “A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas.” This show is best suited for a younger audience and even features a kids-only area at the front of the stage. Celebrate the season with Buzz Lightyear, Mike Wazowski, and Stitch during one of the five nightly performances!

These parties take place from 7:00 to midnight each night, but with your Very Merry Christmas ticket you are granted access into the park at 4:00 pm. To make the most of your night, go in early, make reservations for dinner in one of the many Magic Kingdom eateries, and get in a few park attractions before settling in for a night of holiday festivities.
