Classic American BBQ with Regal Eagle Smokehouse at Epcot

Get ready to chow down on some good ol’ classic American barbecue with Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue, coming to Epcot this winter! This new fast-casual barbecue experience at The American Adventure will offer up classic American backyard barbecue from around the United States as well as a variety of home-style craft brews. 

On the menu are a variety of sandwiches and platters as well as a plant-based option. Guests can enjoy a sliced Texas beef brisket sandwich with house-made spicy mop sauce on garlic toast or the South Carolina smoked sausage sandwich with tangy mustard sauce and caramelized onions.

Feast on Kansas City smoked chicken, Memphis dry-rub pork ribs, North Carolina chopped smoked pork butt, all available by themselves or as part of a delicious hearty platter. For a lighter option, you can grab the Power Greens Salad with chilled pulled chicken, fresh citrus, and a citrus vinaigrette. And if you’re looking for an all-American burger, try the grilled burger topped with BBQ pork and a fried onion ring or take a bite out of the plant-based BBQ burger featuring a plant-based patty topped with BBQ jackfruit served on vegan garlic toast. 

Slather your entrée in a delicious barbecue sauce. Sauces include a spicy mop sauce, sweet BBQ, tangy mustard, and a vinegar-based sauce. The side items include classic barbecue complements like french fries, beer-battered onion rings, mac and cheese, baked beans with burnt ends, house-made pickles, and creamy slaw. 

Kids can enjoy their own fun-sized bites including a burger, BBQ chicken salad, BBQ chicken leg or chicken salad, and even a BBQ rib platter, all served with their choice of two sides.

And finally, you can satisfy your sweet tooth with a delectable dessert like banana pudding or a s’mores brownie as well as a cup of fresh watermelon garnished with torn mint – YUM. 

All-American beverage offerings will include a selection of beer and cider from around the country, wines from the west coast, and specialty regional cocktails with and without alcohol. Coca-Cola® fountain beverages will also be available. Enjoy an outdoor bar pouring their favorite craft brews on draft, and the outdoor seating area will be a great place to sit back and sip on a Tennessee Lemonade Cocktail or a non-alcoholic Berry Sparkler!

Holiday Dining Experiences at Walt Disney World Resort

Whether you’re looking to feast in an enchanted castle as snow falls across the night sky at Be Our Guest Restaurant or enjoy tasty bites at the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, there’s nothing quite like dining at Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season.

With hundreds of amazing dining locations to choose from, finding the perfect place to eat at Walt Disney World Resort is easier than ever before. From mobile ordering meals through the My Disney Experience app, to searching for favorite menu items online, guests are able to save time so that they can enjoy all there is to see and do across our parks.

Beginning today, due to their overwhelming popularity, the My Disney Experience app and DisneyWorld.com will become the preferred home for booking and modifying table service dining reservations.

New Restaurants, Food, Kiosks, and More at Epcot

Between the new nighttime spectacular, “Epcot Forever,” the opening of Walt Disney Imagineering Presents the Epcot Experience, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, and all of the new dining experiences and attractions coming to Epcot, it’s an exciting time to be eating your way around World Showcase! Here’s a quick overview of what’s new.

First up, there have been a couple new openings this month as part of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Head on over to Future World East near Test Track to try out The Donut Box and Cool Wash. At The Donut Box you’ll find Sweet Corn Fritters with Fresno and red pepper jelly as well as Strawberry-dusted Yeast Donut Holes. On the beverage menu there are several sweet sips including a Strawberry Smoothie (garnished with a donut hole) and, for Guests over the age of 21, a Black and White Coffee Cocktail garnished with a fresh yeast donut with chocolate espresso bean crumbles, plus a Central 28 Beer Company Boston Cream Donut Ale.

Right next door, Cool Wash has reopened with an array of fun slushies! You can now have an interactive experience by creating your own custom slushy blend from six frozen carbonated beverages. Choose from Coke, Fanta Cherry, Fanta Orange, Fanta Banana, Fanta Watermelon and Blue Raspberry – all frozen! In addition, you can choose to top your slushy with candy pebbles, popping pearls, jelly drops, or popping candy. Those over 21 can also enjoy a Coca-Cola Orange Vanilla with gin in a souvenir cup.

Both The Donut Box and Cool Wash will be open through the remainder of the festival, which runs through Nov. 23, 2019.  

Also located in Future World, Coral Reef Restaurant will be offering a commemorative menu to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Disney’s animated classic, “The Little Mermaid.” With menu items like the Dinglehopper Shrimp Cocktail, Chef Louis’ Lobster Seafood Boil, and King Triton’s Key Lime Tart, this is a menu you will definitely want to dive right into! When dining here, you will also be able to take home a beautiful commemorative menu (only available while supplies last). This limited-time menu will be available starting Oct. 19, 2019.  

New Restaurants, Food, Kiosks, and More at Epcot - Lobster Seafood Boil

Finally, a new kiosk is coming to the Italy pavilion in World Showcase. This new location will replace the current gelato cart and will be operated by Patina Restaurant Group. The kiosk will be scooping up 12 different varieties of gelato and sorbet, including gluten-friendly and plant-based flavors. Its seasonally updated menu will also use locally sourced fruits.

Hundreds of Plant-Based Dishes Coming to Disney!

Exciting news for foodie fans! Disney has announced that ALL of their major quick and table service restaurants will soon be serving up plant-based options at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort – along with a new plant-based menu icon coming to Disney dining. You will now be able to choose from hundreds of sweet and savory creations, including many brand-new dishes destined to become fan favorites!

Disney’s culinary teams are always looking for ways to bring more flavor, innovation, and creativity to their dining experiences – and Guest feedback is first on the menu when they evolve their menus and develop new dishes. Guests have embraced the current plant-based offerings at Disney parks around the globe, inspiring expansion to their menus and the introduction of a new menu icon, a green leaf, that will make it easier than ever for you to find these creations during your visit.

These fun and flavorful options are made from plant-based ingredients like vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes – and are made without animal meat, dairy, eggs or honey. From comfort-food classics to exciting new dishes for the adventurer in all of us, everyone will find something to delight their tastebuds.

Walt Disney World Resort will launch the plant-based menu icon and introduce new options at the parks and resort hotels in early October. If you are craving tasty plant-powered snacks and treats during their visit, you can explore more than 400 crave-able dishes!

Beatrix Coming to Disney Springs

It’s no secret that Disney Springs has some of the best dining at Walt Disney World Resort, and anywhere in Central Florida for that matter. Within the last year they’ve opened two new restaurants, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill and Jaleo by José Andrés, both headed by James Beard Award Winning Chefs. (Fun fact: They’re up to six James Beard Award-winning, chef-owned locations now!) They’ve got it all—Italian, Mexican, Asian, Spanish, and all-American plus plenty of unique spots to cure any sweet tooth. But what if we told you we have more on the way? That’s right— There’s another restaurant coming to Disney Springs!

Beatrix, owned by Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises (a Chicago-based restaurant group), will open their first restaurant in Florida at Disney Springs West Side. Beatrix is your neighborhood restaurant, coffeehouse and grab-and-go market featuring healthy food options including vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan along with fresh-squeezed juice cocktails. The restaurant will also offer a bakery and full-service bar with a selection of all-American beer and wine. Executive Partner and Divisional President, Marc Jacobs, explains “Beatrix represents the way people are eating today – it’s that mix of health and comfort. Whether grabbing a cup of coffee and your favorite pastry, or having a cocktail, lunch, or dinner with friends, it’s your neighborhood meeting place.” 

Keep an eye out for future updates on Beatrix – as well as City Works Eatery & Pour House, anticipated to open this winter – and Ample Hills Creamery, which is also coming to Disney Springs.

Start the morning off with the Storybook Breakfast Dining Experience, dining in the beautiful indoor rooftop restaurant with bird’s eye views and character greetings from your favorite Disney friends: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy. Breakfast begins with fresh pastries including Danish pastries, croissants, blueberry scones, or Epi bread (a rustic pull-apart baguette shaped like a wheat stalk). Entrées include dishes like quiche Gruyère with house-made pancetta, sour cream waffle, wood-fired butcher’s steak, smoked salmon, plant-based omelets, and more.

For the evening dining experience, you’ll enjoy a selection of fresh oak-grilled meats, classically-prepared seafoods, handmade pastas, and decadent desserts infused with French and Italian flavors. Start off a meal with a Burrata con panna with black winter truffle and sea salt or gnocchi with duck confit and aged parmesan.

Entrées include options such as rigatoni (with braised chicken, charred artichokes, and crème fraiche), bouillabaisse (with seared cod, mussels, turbot, clams, and saffron rouille), king salmon mi-cuit, and beef filet. Your Clients will also find an impressive collection of wines sourced from the Mediterranean coast.

End dinner with a delectable dessert like the Fruits of the Forest with black currant mousse, blueberry sorbet, macerated berries, and hibiscus cake. Or try the pistachio mousse with pistachio cake, lemon curd, and morello cherry.

Reservations are now open for Topolino’s Terrace with the first available date being December 16. The Storybook Breakfast Dining Experience will be offered daily 7:30–11:00 a.m. and can count as one table service entitlement for breakfast on the Disney Dining Plan. Evening dining will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and will count as two table service entitlements for dinner on the Disney Dining Plan. Discounts for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members will also be available. There will also be a minimum dress code for evening dining.

Dino-riffic Burgers and Sundaes Coming to Restaurantosaurus

If you’re looking for a classic burger meal and a yummy sundae to top off their day in DinoLand, U.S.A., this new dinner experience is definitely for you! Our paleontology students have conspired to open a fun and exclusive burger joint right at Restaurantosaurus, giving families a great way to enjoy hand-crafted burgers and a build-your-own sundae bar.

For just one price, you can select an entrée and a side dish and even build their own sundae! On the menu are gourmet burgers, a chicken sandwich, a veggie burger, and a salad. For the sides, choose from fries or onion rings served with a delicious house-made dipping sauce. Plus, dinner also includes a non-alcoholic beverage.

When you order, you’ll receive a token that can be redeemed for a bowl with two oh-so-yummy scoops of delicious ice cream, which you can then take over to the toppings bar to build your own dig site sundae with an abundance of selections to choose from. And in addition to savoring these burgers and treats, you’ll be able to color with fun dinosaur stencils while cast members entertain them with games and stories of the paleontology students who created the restaurant.

Restaurantosaurus Burgers and Sundaes is only available only during dinner on select nights and is $22.99 plus tax for adults and $14.99 plus tax for children ages 3-9. Alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase. This experience can also count as one quick-service meal entitlement on the Disney Dining Plan. Quick service dining at Restaurantosaurus will still be available. Guests partaking in this new dinner experience will check in at a designated register where they will be escorted to a table in a separate dining room. Three Bridges Bar & Grill and Dahlia Lounge Open at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

As the transformation of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort continues and we get ready for the opening of the new Gran Destino Tower this July, it’s time to share exciting info on the all-new dining venues set to open this July. In addition to Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood atop the new tower, three more locations will join the resort’s delicious array of restaurants.

Sitting at Villa del Lago in the center of the lake, Three Bridges Bar & Grill will introduce a new table service dining experience. Delight in sandwiches, shared plates, and more at this relaxing lakefront restaurant. Shareable plates include yummy dishes like Curry-Lentil Hummus, Szechuan Peppercorn Wings and Stuffed Mushrooms. The entrée menu includes the Villa del Lago Salad with arugula, frisée, warm Yukon potatoes, white beans, and asparagus tossed in a bright sherry vinaigrette. Also featured are Braised Pork Tacos, Grilled Skirt Steak, Harissa Lamb Chops, Crispy Chicken Sliders and the Three Bridges Signature Burger. This mouthwatering burger comes with crispy potato, Manchego cheese, roasted garlic-lemon aïoli, arugula and tomato.

And for dessert? Indulge in warm churros with Espelette pepper sugar and chocolate sauce or a vanilla custard Mickey tart with compressed pineapple and tropical sorbet.

Of course, what would a bar and grill be without a few refreshing beverages? While you are dining on the fab food, you can unwind with a vibrant cocktail or share a pitcher of one of the restaurant’s signature house-made sangrias. You’ll also find craft beers from around the world along with a variety of wine styles from Spain and California. Family-friendly non-alcoholic beverage options will also be available.

Speaking of appetizers and cocktails, the new Gran Destino Tower will be home to the Dahlia Lounge. Located next to Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood, this rooftop lounge will feature whimsical forms, colors, unique lights, and especially unique libations and dishes. Here Guests will find an array of wines hand-selected by one of our resident master sommeliers, including Spanish cavas. Cocktails are made with exceptional spirits and ingredients hand-crafted by talented mixologists.

On the menu are several delicious tapas and plates. Tapas options include Chilled Marinated Mussels ‘Escabèche,’ Olive Oil-poached Tuna with Lemon, Valdeón Blue Cheese, or Traditional Tortilla Española’ Spanish Potato Omelet. Plates include Savory Churros, Roasted Beets, Head on Prawns, Espelette-dusted Marcona Almonds and more.

Finally, in the lower lobby of the tower, Barcelona Lounge will feature eclectic patterns and colors inspired by the beautiful aesthetic of Barcelona, Spain. This lounge will offer a European coffee experience as well as Spanish and classic American pastries and breakfast items. Healthful breakfast items include blueberry-lavender honey yogurt with flaxseed granola and fresh-squeezed orange juice.

While the coffee experience will be available throughout the day, as the afternoon rolls around, the Barcelona Lounge transitions into an artisanal cocktail bar featuring a variety of tonics to complement an international gin collection. The collection includes a house-crafted signature Gran Destino Gin Tonic infused with orange saffron. A premium sampling of select wines will also be poured in addition to Spanish and American craft beers. There will also be a menu featuring small plates with savory options like Spanish charcutería and artisanal cheeses, Lentil Hummus ‘Aceitunas’ Marinated Olives and more.

All of these locations will open in July when Gran Destino Tower opens at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

H2O Glow Nights at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon

Get ready to splash into summer with H2O Glow Nights at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. This exciting glow party has returned once again to the water park, bringing even more flashy, splashy, glow-in-the-dark fun!

During Disney H2O Glow Nights, the park transforms into an electric celebration overflowing with splash-tastic surprises like a DJ dance party, shorter wait times for popular waterslides, and an array of fun Toy Story-themed experiences. Guests can even enjoy character greetings with Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and Jessie. And of course, no party would be complete without the FOOD! This year’s menu is bigger and better than ever, featuring a variety of colorful and refreshing beverages as well as a few delicious dishes to munch on. There will even be a special adults-only area at The Wharf where adult partygoers can enjoy live entertainment as well as a full bar with refreshing libations available for purchase.

H2O Glow Nights occurs on select nights starting May 30 through August 24, 2019, at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon from 8-11 p.m. Tickets are $59 per person plus tax for adults and $54 per person plus tax for children ages 3 to 9, when purchased in advance. On the days of the event, the ticket price will be $69 per person plus tax for adults and $64 per person plus tax for children. Tickets are not required for children under age 3.
