Nestled on the boardwalk, you will now find a little bar with a big personality. AbracadaBar opened at Disney’s Boardwalk resort over the summer and is already making an impression on Disney park goers. To give you an idea of what’s in store at this cozy watering hole, check out the bar’s back story:

“This little lounge was a former stomping ground for the famous magicians, boardwalk illusionists, and lovely magician’s assistants of the Golden Age. After a show, prestidigitators would gather to “conjure” up new cocktails, swap magic tips and tricks, and stay up all night attempting to “out-charm” each other with their extraordinary illusions… it was on just such an evening that every single magician in the lounge vanished into thin air, and was never seen again… After sitting vacant for nearly seventy years, the secret magician’s lounge is in the spotlight and making its world debut as ‘AbracadaBar.'”

Take a Load Off Your Feet

The moment you walk in, the decor transports you to the 1930’s golden age of magicians and illusionists. This Disney bar is like no other. Enchanted show posters and mystical mirrors change before your eyes. Glass cases house vintage props and artifacts from illusionists of the past. Seat yourself at one of the cozy booths, couches, or high top tables. You will quickly find the drinks are as charming as the decor and design.

Libations include alcoholic and non-alcoholic signature cocktails, as well as beer, wine, and hard sodas. All cocktails include some sort of magical table-side performance. For example, the Conjurita, “a colorful margarita that never reveals its secrets,” changes color before your eyes.

The price of your drinks includes curry-dusted popcorn and crunchy chickpeas. Worried about partaking in these magical elixirs on an empty stomach? Make a reservation for a nearby restaurant, like Tattoria al Forno or Flying Fish, for a night on the boardwalk.

AbracadaBar is open daily from four in the afternoon to midnight.
