For those who yearn for ghastly vibes, it’s time to start planning your next night of magical frights. Today we’re sharing the 2025 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates, when you can buy your ticket, and a few details on what to expect at this year’s celebration.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Dates & Teaser Treats

Trick or Treating at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary

For some of us, our Halloween dreams include a bag overflowing with candy. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of the best trick-or-treat destinations, with over a dozen treat trail stops marked on your party map. And this year, guests can expect even more fun than ever before with some familiar (and fiendish) faces surprising guests along the trails.

At each stop, cast members in their famously adorable Halloween costumes give out handfuls of Mars Wrigley favorites like M&Ms, Snickers and Starburst. And no worries if you forgot your pumpkin bucket at home: Each guest will receive complimentary treat bags for candy collection (that includes adults).

Guests with food allergies can also join in the fun at every stop. Grab a teal bag from a Cast Member and collect teal tokens along the trail to redeem your fill of allergy-free candy at Allergy-Friendly Centers.

Trick-or-treaters do not have to be in costume to collect candy. Guests are encouraged to dress up in creative Halloween costumes. Be sure to follow official costume guidelines and get BOOtiful costume tips from planDisney.

2025 MNSSHP WDW Dates Boo to You Parade

Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade

There was a time before sparking shovels incited a bone-chilling response, and then you watched Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade.

In this whimsical production, Mickey, Minnie and their friends have donned cute costumes to lead a parade of waltzing ghosts, Disney Princesses and treacherous villains. Guests can expect to see rare characters like Pain & Panic from Disney’s “Hercules,” and Vanellope from “Wreck-It Ralph.”

In 2025, the Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade will again take place at 8:15 PM to allow plenty of time for little ones to enjoy the celebration.

MNSSHP 2025 Hocus Pocus Villains Spelltacular

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

It’s been three hundred years, right down to the day … or it seems that long since we’ve seen the Sanderson Sisters take the stage. This fan-favorite show is both hilarious and bone-chilling as Winifred, Sarah, and Mary try their haphazard best to cast a spell.

It turns out that they need a little help from their friends, who happen to be some of the most nefarious Disney Villains, including the likes of Hades, Cruella De Vil, Jafar, Dr. Facilier and The Evil Queen. Guests will help add ingredients to the cauldron with lots of clapping and singing along.

MNSSHP Fireworks Not-So-Spooky Spectacular

Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular

As the party creeps closer to the witching hour, guests are invited to a spooky story time with the Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington, who has transformed Cinderella Castle into a haunted house. Watch as Zero leads Mickey and Friends inside, where spiderwebs, skeletons and Grim Grinning Ghosts await.

Dazzling projections will transform the castle into a spooky fantasy while the sky comes alive with fireworks. Get ready for towering encounters with Ursula, The Queen of Hearts, and Oogie Boogie. Will Mickey and Friends make it out of Jack’s haunted house this time?

Stay Tuned: Food, New Merch, and Lively Cadavers

Once again, a few of your favorite rides are getting a grim overlay. Expect spellbinding transformations with special lighting and music. Check back to see which attractions are getting the Halloween treatment.

👻 Speaking of scream-worthy experiences, get ready to groove at a new dance party with the music and moves of “Zombies 4” and more “Zombies” fan favorites. And a little spider told us that the Cadaver Dans will be back again this year to sing in soulful harmony.

🎃 In addition to festive candy apples and popcorn guests can always find in the park, our chefs are plotting and planning a new menu of specialty Halloween food and drink for even the most frightening of appetites. Our upcoming Foodie Guide will have all the ghoulish details.

2025 MNSSHP Dates Haunted Mansion Pop Snack

🔮️️ Exclusive party merch will also be available for purchase at Magic Kingdom to commemorate your not-so-scary night of macabre memories.

If you’re planning to try multiple items during a festival at Disney California Adventure, purchasing a Sip and Savor Pass* could offer greater value and convenience on the foodie fun.

What Is a Sip and Savor Pass?

Available for a separate fee, a Sip and Savor Pass is a scannable credential that includes a specified number of digital coupons, which can be redeemed for a select food item or nonalcoholic beverage at festival marketplaces or participating dining locations at Disney California Adventure park during the designated festival.

The number of digital coupons included in a Sip and Savor Pass can vary by festival. For the 2025 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, the Sip and Savor Pass comes in four- and eight-coupon options.

The pass enables you to purchase select menu items at a flat rate, rather than purchasing them at their listed prices.

Which Festivals Offer the Sip and Savor Pass?

A Sip and Savor Pass purchased at a festival is valid only during that festival for that year.

Sip and Savor offerings at participating dining locations are tasting-size portions only, not full entrées.

Redeeming your digital coupons on your Sip and Savor Pass is easy! When ordering, let a cast member at the location scan your Sip and Savor Pass. Then, enter the four-digit code shown on your pass at checkout. The cast member will also be able to tell you how many coupons you have left.

Benefits and Value of a Sip and Savor Pass

Shareable: If you plan to indulge in the gastronomic goodness with a group, a Sip and Savor Pass can be shared between friends and family for a hassle-free tasting experience.

Valid for the entirety of the festival of that year: A Sip and Savor Pass can be used over multiple visits to the festival it was purchased during – a helpful benefit for those on multi-day vacations, Magic Key holders or locals who plan to come back another day. A Sip and Savor Pass expires at the end of the specified festival of that year.

Save time with convenient ordering: Sip and Savor Passes come attached to a lanyard you can wear, making them easily accessible throughout your epicurean adventure. You’ll save time by not having to worry about sifting through your bag or wallet when ordering!

Ordering ahead saves even more time by allowing you to wait in one line to order from select marketplaces.*** You can purchase available marketplace food and beverage items at any one marketplace. Then, pick up your order from the respective marketplace locations by presenting your receipt at each location’s pick-up window. An order-ahead purchase must be picked up on the same day of the purchase. On the day of your visit, you can ask a cast member for more details.

For example, if you’re craving two items from one marketplace and two from another, you can order all four items at one marketplace and collect them at each marketplace’s respective pick-up window.

Save money when sampling multiple items: The listed prices for festival food and beverages can vary by item. You can maximize the value from your Sip and Savor Pass by using your digital coupons to redeem eligible, higher-priced items.

Magic Key holders can also save on the purchase of select Sip and Savor Pass options with a special discount and lanyard.

3 Holiday Dining Experiences Coming to Disneyland Resort Hotels

Special Events By December 1, 2024 No Comments

It’s the most wonderful (and tasty) time of the year! Well, almost. As the holiday season is just around the corner, you know what that means – holiday bites are too. And this year, Disneyland Resort has three won’t want to miss. Santa is even dropping in from the North Pole for one of them.

You’ll be able to indulge in festive fun with Holiday Tea with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Hearthstone Lounge, the adorable Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party Breakfast and Brunch at Storytellers Cafe, and Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays. All of these yuletide festivities will add an extra holiday touch to you and your family’s festivities. Advanced reservations are highly recommended for all of these tasty outings.

What do you say we unwrap these experiences on the way to Disneyland Resort?

Food offerings at Holiday Tea with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Hearthstone Lounge

First up, we’re jingling all the way over to Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa with Holiday Tea with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Hearthstone Lounge. On select days from December 3 through December 24, 2024, you’ll be able to join none other than Santa and Mrs. Claus for a special tea party. But this isn’t your average tea party – Mrs. Claus has been hard at work putting together a tasty selection of holiday-inspired bites.

This elevated holiday experience also features a variety of premium loose-leaf teas, the finest tea sandwiches, and delicately prepared treats to put you in the spirit of the season. Some of the holly highlights include a caprese salad, shrimp salad, prime Holstein tea sandwiches, truffled Christmas egg, and scones. You can enjoy a Classic Tea, Premium Tea, or Deluxe Tea experience, with the Deluxe Tea including strawberries and chantilly cream and a glass of champagne.

Be sure to say hello and grab some photos with your hosts – Santa and Mrs. Claus – before they must head back to the North Pole for the big day. Guests will be able to enjoy a unique interaction with Santa and Mrs. Claus as they share stories of the joy of holiday baking with family and friends and the fine (and fun) art of sipping tea. You may hear “Jingle Bells” play throughout the restaurant during their dining experience!

Bookings open on October 31 for this brand-new, one-of-a-kind experience the whole family will love!

Rendering of Mickey and Friends in their holiday outfits at Storytellers Cafe

We don’t need to venture far for our next stop on this holiday foodie adventure. This holiday season, Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will host Mickey and his pals in their festive and coziest fashion for Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party Breakfast and Brunch. From November 19 through January 1, 2025, the gang will be welcoming you to their pajama party as you feast upon the delicious offerings, including some seasonally themed bites, amid yuletide décor around the dining room. You bring your appetite, and we’ll bring the holiday cheer.

As the sun goes down, you can also indulge in the Storytellers Cafe Holiday Dinner. While Mickey and friends won’t appear during dinner, there’s still plenty of foodie fun to be had. Your taste buds will be more than satisfied with the all-you-care-to-enjoy holiday dinner buffet. For those visiting on Thanksgiving, you can also enjoy these can’t-miss experiences on November 28, too!

Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays

Last, but certainly not least, we’re heading over to the Disneyland Hotel where there are even more merry moments to be had at Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays. Goofy and his friends have busted out their merry best to welcome you to this holly, jolly dining experience from November 19 through January 2, 2025.

As they greet their guests throughout the dining room, you’ll be able to treat yourself to a selection of delicious bites, including some limited-time holiday delights. Whether joining for breakfast, brunch, or dinner service, Goofy and the team will be bringing the season’s greetings all day long.

Interactive Experiences Place You in the Middle of the Magic

Disney Photopass Magic Shot for the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts

Want to get in on the art yourself? You’re in luck, as the festival offers oodles of opportunities to engage in the creative process.

At Animation Academy, held daily at 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. in America Gardens Theatre, learn drawing skills from some of the best in the business as they teach you how to draw a Disney character. At Expression Section: A Paint by Numbers Mural, join fellow artists to leave your creative mark on a larger-than-life wall mural.

Kid’s Chalk Art takes place on the bridge to World Showcase Plaza daily from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. allowing little ones to create their very own chalk masterpieces. And what would a visit to the festival be without artful photo ops? From Botticelli to Renoir, these life-size tableaus beckon you to become part of the painting.

You can also create your own works of art with Disney PhotoPass Service, including limited-time Magic Shots created for this colorful celebration.**

Visual Arts and Merch Inspire Awe

One of the coolest parts of the festival is visiting galleries and meeting the artists who bring imaginative works to life. New and returning favorites will be part of this year’s lineup, so be sure to visit ArtfulEPCOT.com to stay up to date on the latest news.

There’s no way that we can celebrate all things imagination without a visit from everyone’s favorite purple dragon – Figment! This lovable ambassador of whimsy takes center stage on a wide array of festival merch, ranging from household items and décor to apparel and trading items. I’ll be first in line for the Figment Spirit Jersey.

And I have a feeling that the paintbrush cup and Figment plush will be making their way into my reusable shopping bag, too!

Mini EPCOT International Festival of the Arts-themed Disney Gift Card

Looking for a convenient way to pay? We love the beauty and convenience of the mini festival-themed Disney Gift Card. Load it with as little as $15 and wear it on your wrist for quick and easy scanning when you purchase all your festival delights.

Kids of all ages will want to engage in Figment’s Brush with the Master’s Scavenger Hunt. On this journey throughout World Showcase, you’ll help Figment learn all about art. To get started, purchase your map and stickers at Creations ShopPort of Entry, or World Traveler. Then, search for Figment hiding inside art inspired by famous works at each World Showcase pavilion—just look for the Figment-themed picture frame.

Every time you find Figment, add the corresponding sticker to the pavilion on your map. Once your journey is complete, return your map to Disney Traders or World Traveler for an artful little keepsake!***

So, get those paintbrushes ready and unleash your artistic superpowers: The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will be here before you know it. What are you most excited to experience?

2023 Disneyland Resort Holiday Season Dates and Details Revealed

Special Events By August 2, 2023 No Comments

The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are returning Nov. 10, 2023, through Jan. 7, 2024! We can’t wait for you and your loved ones to create special memories and treasured traditions with new and returning holiday offerings around the resort. Ring in the season with some favorite festivities, like tasting your way through the Disney Festival of Holidays marketplaces, watching dazzling projections and fireworks illuminate Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle and snapping a photo with Mickey Mouse in his all-new holiday outfit in Disneyland park!

Here are the details about the celebrations, décor, entertainment and more that will be featured this holiday season.

“Mickey’s Happy Holidays”
Experience Cultural Celebrations in Disney California Adventure Park with Disney Festival of Holidays

A distinctly Disney holiday celebration with diverse food, live entertainment and more, Disney Festival of Holidays draws inspiration from multicultural seasonal celebrations and cherished traditions of Christmas, Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day. You can enjoy some new and returning favorite food and beverage items at the Disney Festival of Holidays marketplaces and groove to music and dance performances at the Palisades Stage, Sonoma Terrace and for the first time, in the Hollywood Backlot, where Disney Festival of Holidays will also be celebrated. Also, get ready to dance along as Disney and Pixar characters march to the beat of the Holiday Toy Drummers in “Mickey’s Happy Holidays.”

Festivalgoers may choose to purchase a Sip and Savor Pass, which offers eight entitlement tabs that can be redeemed for select food and nonalcoholic beverages from several marketplaces and participating dining locations in Disney California Adventure.* Each Sip and Savor Pass is valid for the entirety of Disney Festival of Holidays and can be shared among friends and family, so the whole group can sample delicious dishes together this season.

Disney ¡Viva Navidad! will return to Paradise Gardens Park for its tenth season, and this year, you can taste your way through an all-new menu at Paradise Garden Grill. Watch the Three Caballeros as they host a joyous street party, featuring Mexican folklórico dancers and mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, giant mojiganga puppets and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their holiday best. Additional festivities in this area will include live music and dancing, visits with beloved Disney characters and special appearances by Mirabel from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto.”

“it’s a small world” Holiday
Enjoy Festive Décor and Transformed Attractions Throughout Disneyland Resort

There’s no better place to enjoy wintertime decorations and twinkling lights than The Merriest Place on Earth! Throughout Disneyland Resort, you can gaze at spectacular holiday décor including Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle, adorned with icicles and snow-capped turrets; a gingerbread house inspired by sweet treats and pastries at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa; and Christmas trees with uniquely themed ornaments in both theme parks, the Downtown Disney District, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disneyland Hotel. And with a bit of Disney magic, “snow” is scheduled to fall every night in select areas of Disneyland park!

Ornaments, lights and more will also embellish favorite attractions that get a special holiday overlay. In Disneyland, you’ll be serenaded with choruses of jolly tunes on the wintry waterway of “it’s a small world” Holiday, and Jack Skellington from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” redecorates the Haunted Mansion, transforming it into the frightfully festive Haunted Mansion Holiday, complete with a new, hauntingly delightful gingerbread house. Gear up for some cheer in Disney California Adventure on Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree, which will both undergo seasonal spins for the “haul-idays.”

Delight in Seasonal Spectaculars and Holiday Entertainment

A photo with Disney characters becomes even more merry, as Mickey Mouse and some of his friends will be wearing all-new outfits in Disneyland park, putting a spin on the classic red and green with midcentury modern-inspired looks! Plus, the whole family can visit with Santa Claus, who will pose for jolly photos around Disneyland Resort through Dec. 24.

And of course, the holiday season isn’t complete without enjoying some merry entertainment. At Disneyland park, “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” will spread cheer, starring characters from Disney Animation’s “Frozen,” Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story” and many more. In the evenings, you can watch as the “Believe…In Holiday Magic” nighttime spectacular illuminates the night sky with breathtaking fireworks and sprinklings of snow. And for guests who want to add even more holiday magic to their trip, the Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour will offer a hosted experience of select seasonal offerings and reserved viewing for “A Christmas Fantasy Parade.”**

“World of Color – Season of Light”

At Disney California Adventure park, “World of Color – Season of Light” will fill Paradise Bay with the spirit of togetherness and love as hundreds of fountains illustrate warm moments from Disney animated films.

In addition to holiday shopping and dining in the Downtown Disney District, you can groove to a variety of “mistle-toe-tapping” live musical performances on select evenings at the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage. At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disneyland Hotel, you can enjoy a wonderfully cozy atmosphere, enhanced with live entertainment some nights.
