MouseDining helps you nab those hard to get Disney dining reservations. If reservations aren’t available for your desired dining time, then you can set up alerts to monitor openings. Many people want to know how often they’ll receive notifications. We have the dreaded response: It depends.
If you choose a very popular time, say 6:30, for a well-known restaurant like Be Our Guest, people are less likely to cancel reservations; therefore, you’ll receive fewer notifications. Less popular times and restaurants prone to more turnover will increase the number of notifications. Basically, the most immediate way to lessen the number of notifications would be to narrow the time for your alerts.
At MouseDining, we have a little trick that we recommend if you care more about WHERE you eat than WHEN. First, choose a broad time range for the desired restaurant so you have a higher likelihood of getting a reservation. Once you’ve nabbed a reservation, you can narrow your active alerts to the specific time you want so you can receive fewer notifications. This way, you have another reservation on the back burner even if you don’t get the perfect reservation time.
Many Disney restaurants receive cancellations during busy open hours and only enter them into the system after closing. Therefore, MouseDining sends a lot notifications overnight. Remember, the best way to claim a reservation is to go to the site right when you receive the notification. There are probably a lot of other people vying for the same reservation. Good luck! We hope MouseDining can help you have a magical Disney dining experience!
How do you enter a UK mobile number for alerts? Many thanks. Andy
Hi Andy! Right now you must contact customer support to add an international phone number for text alerts. We are testing internally a system that allows international numbers that we plan to roll out shortly. Thanks!
